Competitors
See who AI recommends instead of you.
When an engine answers a buying question it names three to five brands. We show you exactly who those brands are, how often each one appears, and where you sit against them — measured from real answers, not assumptions.
How it works
Three steps to the real answer.
01
Rivals detected from answers
We don't ask you to guess your competitors. We extract every brand an engine names in your category, which routinely surfaces rivals teams didn't know they had.
02
Share of voice calculated
Every mention across every tracked question and engine is counted, so each brand — including yours — gets a measured share of the conversation.
03
Gaps turned into targets
The questions where a rival is named and you are not become a ranked list of exactly what to go and fix.
What you get
Everything in Competitor Analysis.
Share of voice
What percentage of all brand mentions in your category belong to you versus each rival — the clearest single read on who is winning the answer layer.
Competitors you didn't know about
The rival an engine names is often not the one on your battlecard. We report who actually shows up, including brands outside your usual competitive set.
Head-to-head position
Average position per brand, so you can see not just who is named but who is named first — and how far ahead of you they really are.
The quadrant view
Visibility plotted against sentiment, so leaders, challengers and niche players separate visually — with a time-lapse to watch positions move.
Per-engine breakdown
A competitor can dominate ChatGPT and be absent from Perplexity. The per-engine split tells you which battles are actually worth fighting.
Displacement alerts
With monitoring on, you get an alert the moment a new competitor enters your answers or takes a question you used to win.
Why it matters
There is no page two in an AI answer.
The answer is a shortlist
Three to five brands make it into a typical answer. Every rival named is a slot you didn't get, on a shortlist your buyer will likely never expand.
You can't fix what you can't name
Knowing your score dropped is not actionable. Knowing which specific competitor took which specific question is.
Category conversations shift
A new entrant can appear in your category's answers within weeks of a content or PR push. Continuous tracking catches it early.

Do I have to tell you who my competitors are?
No. We detect the brands engines actually name in your category, which is often more useful than a list you supply. You can also add specific competitors you want tracked explicitly.
What does share of voice mean here?
The share of all brand mentions across your tracked questions and engines that belong to a given brand. If ten answers name twenty brands in total and you appear in two of them, your share is 10%.
Why is my score shown as a range?
AI answers vary run to run by design — ask the same question twice and you can get different brands. So every score ships with a 90% confidence band, and the deep report re-asks each question multiple times per engine. Anyone selling you a single number is guessing.
Can I see this per engine?
Yes. Every competitor metric splits by engine, because visibility rarely looks the same across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and AI Overviews.
How do I actually take a competitor's spot?
Usually by earning presence in the sources that engine cites — review sites, community threads and editorial. The citation analysis report turns that into a ranked hit-list.
Which engines do you audit?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. The engine list shown on the homepage comes from what the deployment actually queries, so we never claim an engine that isn't really running.
